Owls are an ancient symbol of wisdom, strength, and leadership. Farms with a resident barn owl are said to be blessed and protected. Growing up a very wise horse trainer told me to always keep an owl figurine in my pocket for horse shows or exams. Maybe it was the lucky owl itself, or maybe it was just my focus on the owls ability to see in the dark and to see what others couldn’t see. Either way, as an adult and now a horse trainer myself I still carry my old lucky owl to every horse show. The only thing better than one owl is two owls!
